About Us
Our business was founded in 2002 in Barbourville, Kentucky, under the name "Sew What!". Working from a closet-sized spare bedroom, owner Cynthia Fields began creating purses, totes and diaper bags from her own designs. As the business grew, she expanded to custom window treatments, bedding, slipcovers, and baby bedding sets. In 2007, Cynthia moved to Mt. Washington, Kentucky, where she reopened under our current name, The Well-Dressed Window, focusing on custom drapery and bedding.
