Our client had this beautiful antique tester bed stored away in the attic, in good shape but in desperate need of new hangings. A move to a new home presented the perfect opportunity to showcase the bed in a room designed around it. After locating the historically accurate fabric, the client asked us to recreate the original draping and bedskirt. Swing-arm lamps complete the cozy enclosure.

There’s something fundamentally Southern about a blue and white color scheme, don’t you think? The relaxed Roman shades in crisp white linen are softened by playful ball trim. The host and hostess chairs are slipcovered in a floral block print that sets the theme of the space, accented by a small-scale houndstooth on the side chairs. The adjoining living room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows framed by elegant drapery panels bordered with a navy trim.
